OUR SERVICES
🌿 Cultural Consulting & Organisational Change
Transforming systems with cultural integrity
Bawamarra partners with organisations to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing, being, and doing into leadership, governance, policy, and everyday practice.
Our consulting blends cultural authority, lived experience, and evidence-based psychological and trauma-responsive frameworks to support long-term, measurable change — not one-off training.
We help organisations move beyond awareness toward accountability, capability, and cultural safety in action.
How we support organisations
Strategic Advisory & Cultural Audits
Independent reviews, stakeholder engagement, and system-wide assessments to identify strengths, risks, and opportunities for culturally responsive practice.
Clear recommendations and action plans guide leadership and governance decisions.
Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs)
Co-design, implementation, and evaluation of Reflect through Elevate RAPs that move beyond compliance into meaningful change.
We support truth-telling, community partnership, and practical accountability across the whole organisation.
Cultural Capability & Safety Frameworks
Design and implementation of tailored cultural safety and inclusion models grounded in SEWB, Indigenous Standpoint Theory, and trauma-responsive care.
These frameworks strengthen workforce confidence, service quality, and community trust.
Executive Coaching & Leadership Reflection
One-on-one and group coaching for leaders, boards, and reconciliation champions.
Builds relational courage, cultural humility, ethical decision-making, and values-aligned leadership.

Often delivered alongside consulting engagements to align teams and build shared language.

🌿 Mentoring & Youth Programs
Grounded guidance for stronger futures
The Buwanha Mentoring Framework is a culturally grounded, trauma-responsive approach to supporting young people navigating disconnection, adversity, or system involvement.
Designed and led by Aboriginal leadership and shaped by lived experience, Buwanha integrates the Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) framework with relational mentoring, somatic regulation, and connection to culture and Country.
We walk alongside young people to strengthen identity, safety, and belonging — because lasting change happens through relationship, not control.
Depending on need, setting, and funding context, Buwanha is delivered through four pathways:
1. Buwanha Mentoring — Ongoing Model (1:1)
Flexible, long-term mentoring tailored to each young person’s goals, strengths, and support needs.
Ideal for:

-
complex trauma or behavioural support needs
Sessions focus on:

-
cultural identity
-
life skills and confidence
